Welcome to the official website for midwife and writer Kathy Fray.
Kathy lives in North Auckland's beautiful Hibiscus Coast, with her partner of 20+ years an accomplished eco-biobuilder hubby Mark; and their three cool and gorgeous children.
Kathy is a dedicated midwife, entertaining magazine columnist, captivating speaker, author of the ever popular book "OH BABY...Birth, Babies & Motherhood Uncensored", managing director of BabyOK™ Products (creators of the unique Babe-Sleeper infant cot secure) and Kathy is currently completing her next commissioned book.

At Work with Kathy Fray
 Kathy Fray (nee Boon) was born in Wellington New Zealand, went to
primary school in Christchurch, and secondary school on Auckland's
North Shore.
Kathy enjoyed two decades in the Travel Industry in
sales, marketing and management roles, eventually developing her own
niche UK-Europe accommodation wholesaler with branches franchised
nationally.
After the early years of motherhood and annoyed at
the traditionally pious mother-craft guidebooks written by ideological
experts espousing perfect parenting philosophies, Kathy set out to
create a new writing genre in motherhood books. The result is her
trend-setting return to a middle-of-the-road in-the-trenches-of-reality
writing style with extensive focus on the mother's journey, not just
the baby.
Once her children were old enough, and with Kathy being so passionate about motherhood, childbirth and newborns; she then embarked on her own formidable "climbing Mt Everest" journey of the personal committment required to obtain full academic Midwifery qualifications. Kathy's credentials include:
